INTRODUCING
The new Raider II 16 ft. sailboat line was designed by John Drawe and developed from his already successful design of the original Raider 16' performance sailboat with its reputation for performance and stability. The newly redesigned Raider II 16 ft. performance dinghy features a stayed aluminum mast and new fiberglass hull. The upgraded Raider II Sport adds a Mylar® jib on a Harken® furler for better upwind and light air performance and the top of the line Raider II Turbo increases sail area even further with the addition of an asymmetrical spinnaker and retractable bow sprit making it the ultimate 16 ft. racing sailboat for the accomplished sailor. Yet, with such a versatile sail plan, the boat can easily accommodate all skill levels. Whether providing stability for the beginner sailing with main only; or as a single or double-handed family, club or one-design sloop-rigged racing dinghy that's fun and easy to sail, to the ultimate challenge of single-handed, high performance, spinnaker-equipped racing.
